Following the retirement of a member of the department, we are delighted to offer a permanent vacancy on a full or part-time basis for a Teacher of Design and Technology, starting in September 2026.
We have an unwavering commitment to continuous school improvement and seek to appoint staff of the highest calibre and potential. This role requires someone with an engaging classroom presence and the ability to teach and deliver Design and Technology schemes of learning in both KS3 and at KS4 in GCSE Design and Technology and the Materials Engineering Pathway. We would also welcome applications from those with experience of teaching Product Design at A’ Level. Excellent workshop experience including hand and machine manufacturing skills is essential as well as design communication skills. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work in our new and well-equipped workshops. You would be joining a department that has a hardworking, positive ethos, dedicated to mutual support and encouragement.
You should be able to demonstrate your track record of success and personal qualities to show how you would align with our Trust’s ethos and objectives.
