Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for early childhood education and demonstrate strong management and leadership skills. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering their development through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
* Monitor children's progress and development, conducting assessments as required.
* Provide training and mentoring to new staff members, promoting best practices in childcare.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to childcare services.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to effectively guide a team.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Previous nursery experience is highly desirable.

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
