Job Title: Senior Control, Electrical & Instrumentation (CE&I) Engineer
Are you an experienced Control, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer ready to tackle some of the UK's most complex decommissioning challenges?
1. Deliver work packages across a wide range of CE&I design challenges.
2. Provide expert input to the SEP1 Design Justification Report.
3. Produce and/or check functional safety deliverables and design substantiation documents (IEC 61508, up to SIL1).
4. Solve complex technical issues with innovative and safe design solutions.
5. Support installation, commissioning, and documentation processes.
6. Qualifications: CEng/IEng preferred, or equivalent experience.
7. Strong background in Functional Safety, SIL-rated systems, and safety case development.
8. Experience delivering fit-for-purpose CE&I designs on time and within budget.
9. Skills in analyzing technical issues and presenting resolution options.
10. Familiarity with CE&I regulations (CDM, PUWER, BS13849/62061, BS7671), industrial installation standards, UKCA/CE marking, engineering drawings, and relevant standards.
11. Desirable skills include design risk assessments, installation method statements, EO packs, panel build, technical files, O&M documentation, experience with PLC/SCADA control systems, and network architectures.
12. Ability to apply sound engineering judgment with a risk-based approach.
