HVAC Engineer required in the Kent area for our client, a leading HVAC company with 6 regional offices, expanding for over 20 years. They provide turnkey solutions for installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of HVAC equipment.
Their client base includes long-standing clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison, and more.
Position - Salary & Benefits
* Basic Salary up to £42,000
* Company Van (optional for personal use)
* Profit share scheme after 12 months, up to £3,600 tax-free
* Overtime paid at 1.5x
* 40-hour workweek, travel paid after 30 mins each way
* On-call allowance (£1,200 guaranteed, travel paid door-to-door when called out)
* Pension
* 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years
* Company uniform, phone, and PDA
The HVAC Engineer should have proven experience in servicing, fault finding, and repairing air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms.
Position Requirements
* Apprenticeship in air conditioning industry (not essential)
* Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
* 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
* Full Driving Licence
* Experience in service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair
* Residence in the Kent region
