About The Role
As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant), you will have the opportunity to get to know residents individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. Your responsibilities may include assisting with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging residents to achieve or maintain independence.
This role offers a chance to help older adults live their lives as they choose and enjoy their later years. You will support residents to stay active and healthy by promoting good nutrition, fitness, mobility, and emotional wellness.

About Our Home
Inglewood Residential Home is a multi-award-winning home in Cumbria, rated ‘Outstanding’ by CQC. It provides a safe, caring, and homely environment for up to 39 residents with complex healthcare needs. Located close to facilities in Wigton, we offer respite and residential care for the elderly, frail, or those with dementia. The site also serves as a community hub, offering day care services.
Working Conditions
Shifts typically cover 7am to 10pm (days) or 9:30pm to 7:30am (nights), across 7 days a week, including alternate weekends and bank holidays, on a set rota.
