We are pleased to invite enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to attend our Recruitment Event for the role of Learning Support Assistant, starting this September.This event is a great opportunity to learn more about the role, meet the team, and demonstrate your skills and suitability.Role OverviewPosition: Learning Support AssistantPay Rate: £16.69 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay), paid weeklyHours: 08:30 - 16:30 (approx. 7 hours per day)Working Pattern: Minimum of 4 days per weekStart Date: September (confirmed after onboarding)Location: HarrowMandatory TrainingTo be eligible for this role, you must complete:Team Teach - 2 DaysDates to be confirmedThis training will be fully funded by Reed.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will:Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groupsAssist learners with integration into classroom and workplace settingsWork collaboratively with Course Tutors and staff to support student developmentComplete termly reviews and maintain accurate progress recordsAdminister medication (following training and procedures)Supervise students during breaks and lunch timesWhat to Expect at the Recruitment EventEvent dates: Tuesday 14th July The recruitment event will include:PresentationCollege managers will provide an overview of the Learning Support Assistant role and daily expectations.Group InterviewYou will have the opportunity to introduce yourself, discuss your experience, and demonstrate your knowledge of supporting young people and safeguarding.Written TaskYou will complete a short written exercise on the day.
