Outbound Assistant Manager (Web Dispatch & Replenishment) Location: Lytham St. Annes Salary: £32,000 £35,000 (depending on experience) Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week Closing Date: Sunday 28th September The Dispatch and Replenishment departments are responsible for the accurate picking, packing, and delivery of items to our customers, stores, and boutiques within a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment. Following significant growth in our Outbound operations, were excited to offer an opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our management team and help shape our continued success. As an Outbound Assistant Manager, you'll take a hands-on approach to managing the department, while actively supporting team members in their development, wellbeing, and performance. Reporting to the Outbound Manager and Deputy Managers, you will be accountable for ensuring agreed expectations and standards are continuously met, which will span a wide variety of areas from performance indicators to cultural behaviours. You will also be accountable for the engagement and drive within the team and department on a day-to-day basis, with the Beaverbrooks Way at the forefront of everything you do. Main Responsibilities Within the role, the successful candidate will: Work with the Outbound Deputy Managers to deliver the department strategy. Hold the team accountable for performance, ensuring alignment with the Beaverbrooks Way. Oversee all departmental operations, including customer orders, store replenishment, and training. Ensure that the ethos of every customer, every time is delivered with every shipment. Develop a department where the team are engaged, driven and work collaboratively together every day. With the support of the Deputy Managers, develop personal development plans for each team member. Be an active, involved role model with the ability to build great relationships with all members of the department, suppliers and all other office departments. Role model the Beaverbrooks Way through accountability, open communication, and feedback. Share feedback in an open and honest yet balanced way where needed, including performance management-led conversations. Lead and inspire the team to strive for success and celebrate achievements. Contribute ideas for departmental growth and improvement. Act, making well-balanced and quick decisions that have the company's values and ethos at heart. Support the Outbound Deputy managers in the preparation for key peak trading periods, including but not limited to recruitment and rotas. Lead the team through key peak trading periods with energy and passion. Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing Working Hours Planned on a 4-week rota, shifts within the following times: JanuaryOctober Weekdays: 07:4521:30 Weekends: 12:3020:30 NovemberDecember (Peak Trading) Weekdays: 06:0022:00 Weekends: 08:0020:30 About Beaverbrooks Established in 1919, we have 80 locations across the UK.
