Description: Our client is a global leader in the nuclear energy industry and is looking for an Electrical Cabling Engineer to join their team. Purpose of Role: The Electrical Cabling Engineer will lead the design, planning, execution and commissioning of electrical cabling systems including cable trays, cable pulling, terminations and coordination with equipment installation, ensuring compliance with nuclear-grade safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives. Key Responsibilities: Plan & Coordinate Cabling Activities - Oversee full electrical scope including cable trays, pulling, trays, and terminations from pre-construction through to commissioning. Manage material procurement, interfaces and 4-/16-week look-ahead scheduling (MEH L4). Ensure Safety & Quality Compliance - Embed nuclear and industrial safety standards, promoting "right first time" practices and learning applications. Enforce quality culture and non-conformance resolution. Site Operations & Reporting - Drive on-site cabling execution, coordinating with construction, commissioning, and equipment installation teams. Prepare reports and risk assessments, track schedule changes and escalate as needed. Technical Tools & Data Management - The Electrical Cabling Engineer will use Excel, Power BI and 3D models for data-heavy planning, tracking and modeling. Integrate operational experience (OPEX) and project management best practices. Stakeholder Engagement - Interface with internal project managers and external vendor teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery of the Electrical Cabling Engineer. Support mid-level project management and project model integration. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Hands-on experience in industrial or nuclear electrical construction, especially cable tray installation, cable pulling and terminations. Proven expertise with Excel, Power BI and interpreting 3D cable routing models. Experience in field execution and integrating operational learnings (OPEX). Excellent verbal and written English. Strong adaptability, autonomy and keen interest in large-scale nuclear or industrial projects. Project management experience is a plus; knowledge of nuclear is a strong advantage.
