Job Description: Brake Press Setter/Operator – Tamworth £14.00–£15.00 per hour (DOE) + Overtime Available Full-Time | Permanent JAM Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Setter/Operator on behalf of our client based in Tamworth. We are looking for reliable, skilled candidates with proven experience in a similar role. Key Responsibilities: * Set up and calibrate press brake machines in line with specifications and technical drawings. * Operate AMADA press brakes to accurately bend sheet metal to required angles and dimensions. * Monitor machine performance during production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality. * Inspect finished components for defects, ensuring all parts meet quality standards. * Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimise downtime. * Use hand tools, tooling, and measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges to verify accuracy. * Assist with the preparation of sheet metal components for assembly or further fabrication. * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
