Trainee Fall Protection Engineer
Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Time and a half for any hours outside of these times (evenings, early mornings, weekends). Flexibility is essential — some nights away from home, weekend work, and night shifts will be required.

NSS Group is offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Fall Protection Engineer within our NSS Testing division — a team that inspects, services, and maintains essential height safety systems nationwide.
We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable up high, hands-on, and ready to learn a specialist trade with fantastic long-term potential.
What You’ll Do
* Service, maintain, and repair fall protection equipment such as:
* Fall arrest and life safety lines
* Eyebolts (fall restraint and abseil)
* Guardrails, gantries, walkways, and ladders
* General lifting and access equipment
* Highlight and report any further remedial works needed
* Ensure all work complies with British Standards and Health & Safety regulations
* Support other teams across the business where required
Who We’re Looking For
* Previous experience working at height (roofer, rope access, scaffolding, etc.)
* Good communication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
* Full driving licence
* Smart, professional, and safety-conscious
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
