Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Crawley
Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum (subject to experience) + optional overtime at 1.5×, 33 days holiday, company van, and door‑to‑door payment.
Overview
You will travel up to two hours from your home to service and maintain fuel pumps in supermarket forecourts. The role is based on a local patch and includes initial shadowing, specialist training, and a fully funded SPA card.
Responsibilities
* Servicing and maintaining fuel pumps.
* Traveling to customer sites within a two‑hour radius of your home.
* Following a structured training programme, including a specialist course.
* Working Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., with door‑to‑door payment and one weekend in five.
* Performing optional overtime as required.
The Person
* Mechanical background with hands‑on experience as a service engineer on pumps, gauges, or similar equipment.
* Capacity to work independently and adapt to a local patch schedule.
