About the Role: * Negotiating and appointing sub-contractors to schemes * Managing sub-contractor packages from appointment to final account * Leading all commercial matters with clients * Submitting valuations and variations on schemes * Providing monthly cost reports aligned with project budgets * Building strong working relationships with Contracts Managers and Site Teams * Identifying and resolving cost issues * Mentoring and monitoring junior staff on your projects * Adhering to the Integrated Management System (IMS) policies and procedures * Undertaking other duties as allocated What We Offer: * Salary: £65k to £75k DOE * Car allowance and full benefits package * Performance-based bonuses * Private medical and life insurance * Additional holidays and long-service awards * Career growth opportunities, training, and support for professional development and memberships Your Knowledge, Experience & Skills: * Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline * 10 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally in residential and commercial projects * Strong tendering and estimating abilities, with experience in negotiating and pricing variations * Good working knowledge of JCT, NEC, and PWC contracts * Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload using initiative * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * High level of commercial awareness * Experience managing junior staff * Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment * Proficient IT skills * Full valid driving licence If you’re a Quantity Surveyor who’s ready to take the next step, lead meaningful projects, and be part of a team that values your expertise — apply now and become our client’s next Senior Quantity Surveyor
