Overview
We are seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to join our Specialist Nursing Home service. You will provide person-centred care for adults with complex neurological disability, supporting them to achieve the best possible quality of life. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care for adults with complex neurological disability as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing in all aspects of care.
Requirements
* Minimum of six months' paid experience in a UK care setting
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Adult Health and Social Care
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
* Confidence in delivering personal care, mobility assistance (including hoisting), and support with eating and drinking
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support individuals with complex communication needs
* Ability to work flexibly across days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
Desirable Experience
* Previous work with individuals with brain injury or complex long-term conditions
* Experience of working within a multidisciplinary health or social care team
