Responsibilities
* Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Ensure proper coding of expenses to the correct accounts
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
* Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring all approvals are obtained
* Maintain and update accounts payable records and files
* Handle supplier queries and provide prompt resolutions
* Support month-end closing processes as required
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Qualifications
* Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance-focused role
* A strong understanding of basic accounting principles
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
* Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues
