An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Quality Improvement and Practice Development Team (QIPD) for a Quality Improvement Advisor. The QIPD Team have a key role in working alongside multi-disciplinary teams across Tayside to develop and deliver service improvements. The team brings together Practice Development, Quality Improvement, Clinical Education and Peer Support into a team approach that recognises the unique contribution of each team member and their contribution to development and improvement. The team works with multidisciplinary teams, patients and stakeholders and contributes towards better care in mental health, while also facilitating the development of capacity and capability building for quality improvement and practice development within individuals, teams and services. The work of the team has been recognised nationally winning awards and commendations at the Mental Nurse Forum Scotland Annual Awards. The post holder will have a professional link to the NHS Tayside Improvement Team who offer an internal consultancy service to enable, engage and equip staff of all levels to implement improvements and bring about the desired cultural changes required for a 21 st century healthcare system. This includes the development of a co-ordinated approach to identifying, organising and deploying expertise and resources to support improvement and development of people, systems and processes.
