A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Dental Nurse Apprentice to join our busy, modern town centre practice.
We are a long-established independent dental practice offering high-quality private dentistry in a relaxed, high-tech environment. Our modern facility includes 13 fully equipped surgeries with state-of-the-art technology, delivering exceptional patient care across a wide range of advanced treatments. This is an excellent opportunity to start a rewarding healthcare career, gain hands-on experience, and work towards a nationally recognised dental nursing qualification.
As an apprentice, you will:
* Assist chairside during dental treatments
* Prepare and maintain dental surgeries & instruments
* Support patients during appointments
* Help with infection control and decontamination
* Occasionally assist with reception/admin duties
A Dental Nurse Apprentice must be motivated and keen to learn, full training is given which leads to a professional qualification in Dental Nursing with full support of the team. On completion of qualification will need to register with the General Dental Council with a guaranteed wage increase on qualification.
The successful candidate must have:
-Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Excellent organisational skills and keen to work in healthcare
-Good listening skills and ability to correctly follow instructions
-A Friendly, reliable and professional manner at all times.
-Willing to complete required health checks (e.g., vaccinations, DBS)
*No previous dental experience required as full training provided*
As a Dental Nurse Apprentice, you will be essential in helping the team deliver high-quality patient care and provide exceptional services.
