Your Role
As the Affordable Regional Portfolio Manager, you will be the driving force behind a group of assets, ensuring they thrive under your guidance. Your mission? To uphold FPI Management's standards while meeting client expectations based on operating budgets and management agreements.
Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will:
* Ensure compliance with Equal Housing Opportunity and Affirmative Fair Housing laws.
* Oversee LIHTC and Section 8 policies and procedures.
* Conduct file reviews, physical inspections, and engage with regulatory agencies.
* Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets for clients and properties.
* Maintain financial oversight through monthly operating statements and budget reports.
* Provide training and support to on-site personnel, fostering a productive environment.
* Respond promptly to resident, client, and vendor communications.
* Ensure all properties meet FPI standards for maintenance and curb appeal.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, USDA-Rural Development, etc.).
* 2+ years in a leadership role within Property Management.
* High School diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., ARM, CAM, CAPS) are a plus.
* Valid Real Estate Salesperson License (varies by state).
* Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Essential Skills
To excel in this role, you should be proficient in:
* Yardi, Weblisters, Site Pro, RealPage, and other property management software.
* Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace.
* Basic computer skills and internet usage.
* Strong management and customer service abilities.
