Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Wakefield area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator who can deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the role running immediately through to the end of the academic year.
The Role
* Deliver high-quality History lessons that motivate and challenge students
* Teach KS3 and KS4, following departmental schemes of work and contributing to planning where required
* Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with school and DfE standards
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* Participate in departmental meetings, CPD and wider school life

What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching History at secondary level
* Strong classroom management and a passion for delivering the subject
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
