Overview
Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust Trustee
We are an independent charity raising funds to help protect and enhance the special qualities of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. From conserving rare species and habitats to supporting outdoor learning, access, and heritage projects, we work to ensure this unique landscape is cared for and enjoyed now and for future generations.
Role and Responsibilities
Applications are invited for Trustee roles to help guide the charity’s development, supporting an ambitious and impactful programme of fundraising for nature, heritage, and community wellbeing across the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its surrounding area. Trustees will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the charity, developing and adopting appropriate policies, and helping ensure that the Trust meets its legal obligations and delivers best practice in everything it does. Supporting the Charity Director and Funding Officer, you will provide guidance, insight, and leadership to help the Trust grow its reach and impact.
Candidate profile
We are especially keen to hear from applicants with experience in fundraising, philanthropy, or income generation, who can help us build long-term support for our work. Whether you bring knowledge of trust and foundation fundraising, major donor development, corporate partnerships, or public engagement campaigns, your input could make a real difference. You should have a passion for nature and an interest in the work of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. You may bring experience of working on a board, committee, or within a decision-making group in a voluntary or business setting. Knowledge of the legal requirements of charities and/or local knowledge of Pembrokeshire would be valuable.
