Estimator (Rail) Flexible working model from Belfast with frequent travel to other UK sites. Salary bracket: £50,000 pa - £60,000 pa car allowance Reporting to: Commercial Manager Opportunity for an experienced Estimator (accustomed to working on Rail Projects), to join the Commercial Team of a multinational company in the Infrastructure Sector, to manage bids from inception to submission and navigate communication with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience inrail sector estimating and bid management. Strong IT skills (estimating software, CAD, etc.). Excellent negotiation, presentation, and multitasking abilities. Degree in Construction Management (or equivalent) and/or professional accreditation (RICS, ACostE, ICES) preferred. Main responsibilities involved in the role: Identify and develop tender opportunities for frameworks and rail projects. Analyse drawings, specifications, and rail standards to produce accurate estimates. Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, and project teams. Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to optimise pricing. Oversee tender documentation, site visits, and settlement meetings.
