Sales Director - SaaS scale Up - £360k OTE (50/50) - Remote - Energy / Healthcare

We’re partnering with a forward thinking SaaS business on a mission to modernise how critical services are delivered and managed. Backed by a strong product team and operational leadership, this company is scaling globally and needs a Director of Sales to lead the charge.
You’ll be reporting directly to the Managing Director and driving the entire commercial strategy. From building a high-performing sales function to winning enterprise accounts, this is a rare opportunity to own revenue growth in a business poised for rapid expansion.
What you’ll be doing as the Sales Director:
* Architecting and executing a high impact sales strategy aligned with global growth goals.
* Leading and mentoring a team of ambitious sales professionals to exceed targets.
* Driving new business through consultative, value based selling.
* Partnering closely with marketing and product to ensure GTM alignment.
* Representing the business at industry events and executive level client meetings.
* Building a winning sales culture based on performance, integrity, and innovation.
To be considered for the Sales Director role, you must have the following:
* Current or recent experience working in a Series A SaaS start-up/scale-up.
* A proven track record of scaling revenue (hunting) and building a high-performing sales team.
* Experience hiring, managing, and developing large sales teams — ideally 20, 30, or even 40+ Account Executives.
* Experience selling SaaS solutions into the energy or healthcare sector - Bonus
* A strong record of success in enterprise level, consultative B2B sales.
* Expertise in managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
* High commercial acumen and data-led decision-making ability.
* Confidence and polish when engaging C-suite executives and investors.
* A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a bias for execution.
* Able to travel to the company HQ in Southampton as and when required
