Our client, a welcoming family based in Windsor, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Housekeeper to provide temporary assistance over the holiday period.
This role requires someone who is proactive, meticulous, and takes great pride in maintaining a beautifully presented home. The dates required are below.
1. 17th- 24th December
2. 29th - 31st December
3. 2nd - 6th January
Key Responsibilities:
4. Full housekeeping duties - ensuring all areas of the home are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
5. Laundry and garment care - including delicate and luxury fabrics
6. Wardrobe management – seasonal organisation, packing/unpacking for travel, and general upkeep
7. Pet care - daily walks, grooming, and vet appointments for the family’s miniature dachshund
8. Errands and household tasks - grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and local collections/deliveries
9. Inventory and stock management - monitoring and replenishing household supplies
10. Light cooking and meal preparation - preparing lunches and assisting with family meal prep
11. Liaising with contractors and tradespeople - overseeing visits and ensuring household maintenance runs smoothly
Requirements:
12. Experienced Housekeeper - proven background in a private household with excellent references
13. Strong organisational skills - high attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
14. Pet-friendly and child-friendly - comfortable around children and the family dog
15. Driver with own vehicle
16. Discreet and professional - maintaining the utmost confidentiality at all times
17. Team player - able to communicate effectively with other household staff members
Salary: £20 gross per hour
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
