Head of FP&A | Bedford | £90,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + Benefits Eutopia Search is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a high-growth, private equity-backed organisation to appoint a Head of FP&A This is a commercially focused leadership role, sitting at the heart of the business and working closely with the CFO, Executive Team and operational leaders. The position combines strategic financial planning, advanced scenario modelling, cashflow management, funding oversight and business partnering, offering a genuine opportunity to influence key decisions and drive value creation.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the FP&A function, delivering robust budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
Own daily, weekly, monthly and long-term cashflow forecasting and reporting.
Manage and optimise a complex Asset Based Lending (ABL) facility, ensuring covenant compliance and maximising available headroom.
Deliver detailed scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and strategic business modelling to support decision-making.
Partner with the CFO on funding requirements, refinancing activities and potential transaction support.
Lead analysis of capital expenditure, asset utilisation and return on investment across a substantial asset base.
Drive insightful reporting around working capital, liquidity, leverage and cash generation.
Work closely with operational leadership to support performance improvement initiatives and strategic planning.
Lead weekly and monthly performance reviews, turning financial data into actionable business decisions.
Manage and develop a small finance team whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Act as deputy to the CFO when required and represent Finance within the wider leadership team.
About You
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Strong FP&A leadership experience within a complex, asset-intensive or PE-backed environment.
Advanced financial modelling and scenario planning expertise.
Significant experience in cashflow forecasting, treasury, funding facilities and covenant management.
Commercially minded with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
Strong ERP and reporting systems experience.
Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment where agility and accountability are expected.
Natural leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
