Job Overview
We have an opportunity to expand our provision of cardiology services and are now looking to recruit a full-time enthusiastic cardiac physiologist who will have the opportunity to shape the delivery of cardiology diagnostics and investigations in Wrexham as part of the largest NHS organisation in Wales.

To succeed in this role, you should be a competent practitioner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have experience in a wide range of cardiac diagnostics.
This position is pivotal for the future development of our busy department, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver various cardiac diagnostics and meet the needs of complex patients. Appointments will be based on experience and ongoing professional development. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential; applications from Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome.
Main duties of the job
To be technically proficient as an independent practitioner in cardiology procedures, including:
* Application of 12-lead electrocardiography
* Application of ambulatory ECG recording equipment
* Application of ambulatory blood pressure monitors
* Analysis of 12-lead ECGs
* Analysis of ambulatory ECG recordings with reporting that may influence clinical management
* Exercise Stress Testing, including obtaining accurate recordings and communicating effectively with patients
* Training in pacemaker implantation and follow-up, including lead function testing and documentation
* Analysis of loop recorder findings
