 
        
        Service Manager – Strategic Commissioning, Assurance and Reform
Commissioning, Assurance and Reform, Town Hall, South Shields. Salary: £70,371 p.a.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic individual with experience and a thorough understanding of commissioning, transformation and change initiatives particularly within a social care context or related field. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to translate strategic planning skills into tactical delivery that supports innovation and improvement in our services. You will possess management and leadership skills that empower and enable our staff in their development and delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and develop the commissioning offer for social care and for services across the wider Council.
Responsibilities

 * Empower and enable staff in their development and delivery through effective management and leadership.
Requirements
 * Experience and a thorough understanding of commissioning, transformation and change initiatives within a social care context or related field.
 * Strong management and leadership capabilities.
 * Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
 * Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless medically exempt).
 * Skilled worker visa sponsorship not offered.
