Main duties of the job include providing evidence-based interventions, managing a caseload, undertaking assessments and reviews, and communicating effectively with those involved in the care of people in custody up to release.

Job Description
Job responsibilities include:
* Taking a Recovery-focused and holistic approach in working with people who access our services.
* Delivering care and interventions utilizing the stepped care model, including provision of the CPA Framework where appropriate.
* Assessing people's needs to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans.
* Facilitating therapeutic group work, taking the lead where appropriate.
* Delivering evidenced-based interventions.
* Identifying people requiring hospital treatment and facilitating the timely transfer under The Mental Health Act.
* Line management of Band 5 nurse where appropriate.
* Some weekend working is required as part of this role.
Person Specification
Essential qualifications and experience include:
* Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Register.
* Evidence of recent CPD and compliance with NMC revalidation.
* Teaching Certificate, including annual update (ENB 603), or related mentoring/coaching qualification.
* Considerable experience of working in the mental health field.
* Experience of providing specialist interventions for those with mental health problems, counseling techniques, CBT, motivational interviewing.
* Providing supervision and line management of staff.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
UK Registration: Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
Salary: £38,682 to £46,580 a year per annum.
Contract: Permanent.
Working pattern: Full-time.
