LOCATION: Leeds
TERM: Permanent
SALARY: GBP 40,000 - GBP 50,000
The Quality Engineer Will Ideally Have The Following Attributes
* Degree/ HNC/ HND / NVQ qualified in Engineering or be QBE
* 2 years' or more experience in a similar Quality Technician or Quality Engineer position ideally with transferable skills and knowledge
* Previous experience working in a similar electronics components engineering manufacturing environment but other backgrounds may also be considered
* Ideally experienced in carrying out internal audits
* Excellent knowledge of ISO9001 : any other ISO experience would be desirable
* Able to work well individually as well as within a team
* Have excellent communication skills
The Quality Engineer Role Will Involve
* Working with the group Quality Manager
* Supporting all aspects of Quality : using methods such as 8D, 5 Why's, Root Cause Analysis etc.
* Always looking to improve company processes and procedures
* Be involved in internal audits and leading this programme
* Understanding customer feedback
* Training other staff members with regards to processes and procedures
* Producing product reports as required
