Senior Property Surveyor – TieTalent
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Surveyor with a passion for delivering exceptional repair services. You will lead the surveying function within our Responsive Repairs Team, manage complex repairs, disrepair claims, and damp & mould issues within the housing sector, and make a real impact on the lives of our customers.
Location: Burton Upon Trent
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum
Employment type: Permanent, Full Time – 37 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and manage a team of surveyors, overseeing the assessment and delivery of repairs.
* Handle complex and high-priority repairs, including damp & mould issues and disrepair claims, ensuring efficient and professional resolution.
* Provide expert advice and guidance throughout the repair process, from initial reports to final resolution.
* Support your team’s development through mentoring and performance reviews, ensuring top-tier service delivery.
* Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and legal teams to resolve claims and building defects.
What We're Looking For
* Ideally RICS Chartered Surveyor (or equivalent) with extensive experience in responsive repairs and building pathology.
* Proven leadership and team management experience.
* Comprehensive understanding of damp & mould issues, disrepair claims, and building defects.
* Customer-focused approach with the ability to handle challenging cases and provide expert solutions.
* Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers, the in-house delivery team, and contractors.
* Experience using CRM, Housing Management and Contractor systems (desirable).
