About the Role
The demand planning team supports one of the largest sports nutrition brands worldwide. The manager will oversee demand models, communicate stock plans, and lead a small team of Demand and NPD Planners.
Responsibilities
* Maintain relationships with supply chain and commercial teams for ongoing ranges and new product development.
* Manage a team of demand & NPD planners.
* Oversee the product launch tracker for nutrition brands.
* Collaborate with NPD, Marketing and Trading to plan launch dates within product and regional lead times.
* Feed forecasts to Supply Planning and Procurement to ensure optimal stock ordering.
* Co‑ordinate with the wider planning team to meet production demand and deliver stock to fulfilment centres globally.
* Drive improvement through post‑launch reviews, highlighting overstocks to trading teams.
* Report on and track stock profile against targets to reduce overstocks & expiry risks.
* Provide ad‑hoc analysis and reports for the planning function.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong experience in demand planning management within FMCG or food manufacturing.
* Experience managing a small team.
* Excellent numerical and reporting skills; Excel and SQL desired.
* Independence, initiative and attention to detail.
* Supply chain/commercial background desirable.
* Understanding of e‑commerce desirable.
