* Knowledge or experience with web application development using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, React, Angular, etc.
* Experience with unit, mutation, component, integration, and automated functional testing.
* Familiarity with code quality practices and tools (e.g., code scanners, GitLab), cloud hosting, and JIRA.
* Knowledge of private and public cloud storage and data services.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a globally distributed team of colleagues and stakeholders.
* Ability to demonstrate design, troubleshooting, documentation, product lifecycle, problem analysis/isolation, compliance, and security capabilities.
* Desire to take end-to-end ownership of deliverables for colleagues and business partners.

Accountabilities
* Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture to achieve project goals and objectives.
* Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management, and task prioritization to deliver solutions within scope, time, and budget.
* Mentor and support team members\' growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
* Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate with business partners, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive product development approach.
* Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices.
* Define strategy, drive requirements, and recommend changes. Plan resources, budgets, policies; deliver continuous improvements and escalate policy breaches.
* Define roles and responsibilities, plan for future department needs, coach performance, and contribute to pay decisions when applicable. Lead specialists to influence department operations in alignment with priorities while balancing short and long-term goals and ensuring budgets and schedules meet requirements.
