The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, both inside and outside of the classroom.
As a Level 2 TA, you will:
* Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
* Work with pupils in 1:1 and small group sessions to reinforce learning.
* Assist with behaviour management and promote a positive classroom environment.
* Support children with SEND and additional needs, adapting learning to meet individual requirements.
* Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging lessons and activities.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will bring:
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
* Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills.
* A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
* Drivers are highly desirable, as some roles may involve travel between sites or supporting off-site activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
