Manpower are seeking an experienced FLT / Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and growing business. This would suit an individual looking for stable, full-time employment with regular overtime opportunities.
Working as part of the warehouse and operations team, you will be responsible for the safe movement of goods, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting the day-to-day running of the site while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Salary: £13.61 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities
1. Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
2. Loading and unloading deliveries
3. Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse and yard
4. Stacking and storing products in designated locations
5. Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes
6. Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects
7. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
8. Supporting colleagues to achieve daily operational targets
9. Adhering to all company health and safety procedures
About You
10. Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence
11. A minimum of 1 year's Counterbalance driving experience
12. Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
13. A strong work ethic and positive attitude
14. Good attention to detail and safety standards
15. Excellent reliability and punctuality
16. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Requirements
17. Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
18. Minimum 1 year of Counterbalance FLT experience
19. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
20. Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties when required
21. Flexibility to work overtime when available
