Here at Aspris, we are proud to be a leading provider of specialist education services with over 30 schools nationwide. We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join us in opening a new school for autistic children and young people (opening September 2025). We welcome applications from Unqualified Teachers and ECTs with relevant SEN experience.

We are looking for an outstanding relationship builder, with the knowledge of how to inspire exceptional performance and maintain a positive and enthusiastic learning environment for pupils and colleagues alike. You will be part of the creation and help shape the curriculum and education programmes, creating an inclusive culture in line with the Aspris values.

The purpose of our school is to help prepare young people to make a successful transition into adulthood with the resilience and the necessary skills to live as independently as possible and participate in their local community. We seek to increase achievement and independence to give our students the best possible opportunities to gain employment or access further education and enable them to go on to live the life they choose.What will Aspris Ridgeway look like?

1. Aspris Ridgeway School will be a centre of autism expertise and excellence, educating up to 60 pupils aged 7-19 with identified autism needs and in receipt of an EHCP.
2. A welcoming school environment with clearly defined specialist therapy and teaching areas, staffed and resourced to meet individual complex needs.
3. A school with strong leadership and governance.
4. A provider of opportunities that engage young people in appropriate learning, so they achieve outstanding progress relative to their starting points.
5. A provider of a highly individualised, therapeutic based curriculum which prepares pupils with skills for lifelong learning.

We aim to open initially with Y5 and Y6 pupils. We are therefore looking for outstanding primary teachers to join us on this exciting journey.

Main responsibilities:

6. Oversee the planning of curriculum content to improve standards of learning and achievement for all, ensuring it is well sequenced to promote pupil progress
7. Ensure the planned curriculum is effectively and consistently implemented across the whole school
8. Ensure effective use of resource

You will:

10. Hold UK QTS / Is an Unqualified Teacher with extensive experience / is an ECT with SEN background
11. Have significant classroom experience
12. Have strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
13. Be willing to participate in ongoing professional development
14. Have a passion for education and inspiring our young people
15. Have strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive culture
16. Have a visionary mindset with an ability to innovate and implement change
