The home provides residents with the highest standards of care, comfort, and support within a safe and homely environment. The friendly and experienced staff ensure the social, physical, and emotional needs of the residents are met through a person-centred approach to nursing care.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As the Clinical Lead, your key responsibilities include:
1. Promoting, monitoring, and implementing standards for resident care within the unit environment, evaluating through clinical governance and audit.
2. Providing clinical leadership, positive role modelling to the unit team, ensuring effective communication across the multidisciplinary team through supervision, mentoring, and appraisal. Leading formal care reviews with the commissioning Trust.
3. Ensuring all care records, risk assessments, audits, and other outcome measures are part of the patient's care and are regularly monitored and updated.
4. Ensuring that all nursing staff provide appropriate care plans written with the residents, and documenting their progression within care notes.
