Join us as a School Kitchen Assistant
Play a vital role in creating a welcoming and nourishing environment for our pupils and staff. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, simple meals, setting up the dining area, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
We are looking for someone who:
* has experience working in a school kitchen environment
* can support the kitchen manager in running lunch services effectively
* can promote healthy eating
* is flexible and adaptable for smooth lunch service
* maintains a calm, consistent approach with children
* can communicate well with children, staff, and professionals
* shares the school’s vision and values
* has patience, empathy, and conscientiousness, committed to excellent care and service
* possesses good interpersonal skills and works well in a team
Fluency Duty:
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Ability to converse confidently in English with pupils, parents, and staff, and provide advice in accurate spoken English, is essential.
