Overview
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our successful Major Projects division. As part of our commercial team, you’ll play a key role in our major projects portfolio empowering decision-making, providing expert advice, managing all commercial activities, and overseeing the change control process. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Responsibilities
* Perform risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract.
* Lead and drive the procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors.
* Maintain awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control is adhered to.
* Monitor and report forecast against cost and value and manage cashflow.
* Oversee and manage the commercial team on your contracts and support their development.
Qualifications & Experience
* Enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in construction, civil engineering or highways.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Excellent knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts.
* CSCS card essential for this role.
