Your Responsibilities as an MOT Tester
As a vital part of the team in Yeovil, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. This role is perfect for a meticulous Mechanic who takes pride in their work.
* Carry out all MOT tests strictly in line with VOSA / DVSA guidelines.
* Ensure all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes while maintaining consistent product quality.
* Identify and advise on any additional work needed, always prioritising customer safety and our Duty of Care obligations.
* Provide outstanding service to customers and actively support a collaborative dealership environment in Yeovil.
Role Requirements
To successfully join our team as a Vehicle Technician in Yeovil, you must possess:
* A valid MOT Testing qualification is absolutely essential.
* Proven experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive industry role.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
* A current, full UK driving licence (subject to licence checks).
