Global Business Services Director

As a Director in our Global Business Services (GBS) team, you’ll shape strategy, oversee a diverse client portfolio, and drive operational excellence.

Collaborate with senior leadership to grow the business, challenge strategic thinking, and deliver impactful change.
Pro‑actively manage your own tasks, collaborate with others, communicate regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners, and identify opportunities to enhance delivery and provide additional services to clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Shape global strategy for the GBS team and drive operational excellence.
* Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to grow the business and challenge strategic thinking.
* Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and expand the client service offering.
* Communicate regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO Partners.
Qualifications
* ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent.
* Significant experience delivering international accounting projects with operations in different countries using a shared service centre.
* Proven experience managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams within a project management framework.
* Experience managing and developing staff, including mentoring, counselling, appraising and recruiting.
* Experience delivering business development activities.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills, initiative, and strong communication skills.
