Role Description
We are seeking an Entry Level Space Imaging Engineer to join our on-site team in Chelmsford on a full-time basis. In this role, you will assist in the design and development of space imaging systems, contribute to machine design projects, and utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools for component and system modeling. You will also support research and development activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams to address project requirements, and assist in managing project timelines to ensure successful executions.
Qualifications
Strong technical proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
Familiarity with Project Management principles and the ability to track progress and meet deadlines
Proven aptitude in Research and Development (R&D) to drive innovation and craft unique solutions
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Relevant internship or academic project experience in space imaging or related fields is a plus
