Our Acoustics team in South London (Croydon) is seeking a graduate to join from September 2025.
About our Team
The UK AECOM Acoustics team is one of the largest in the country with over 50 members delivering acoustic solutions across various industries. We combine scientific expertise with innovative approaches to provide sustainable acoustic design, working closely with architects, engineers, and planners from concept to completion. Our projects include landmark developments worldwide.
Projects
BBV HS2 Phase 1 Noise and Vibration Monitoring
Aiding in environmental monitoring for HS2, managing noise and vibration levels from over 150 monitors, and undertaking 3D noise modelling.
BBC
Monitoring and reviewing design for the East Bank project at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, including site inspections and acoustic assessments.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to acoustic data analysis, predictions, and 3D modelling
* Conduct site visits for measurements and observations
* Perform research and literature reviews
* Assist senior staff with technical advice and report writing
* Communicate with clients, authorities, and teams
* Attend meetings and contribute to proposals
* Participate in STEM activities

Qualifications
Degree in Acoustics, Sound and Vibration, or related fields with 2:1 or higher. A full driving license is required due to travel needs. Strong communication, research, report-writing skills, and a proactive attitude are essential.
