Role Overview
We are seeking a newly qualified Management Accountant (ACA) to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a first mover from practice looking to gain commercial exposure within a dynamic asset management environment. You will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
* Partnering with business units to provide financial insights and support decision-making
* Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
* Supporting year-end statutory reporting and audit processes
* Improving financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
* Analysing revenue streams, cost drivers, and profitability across funds or business lines
* Preparing ad hoc financial analysis and presentations for senior stakeholders
Requirements
* Newly qualified ACA (or equivalent), trained in a top or mid-tier accounting practice
* Strong academic background
* Experience working with financial services clients (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
* Proactive, adaptable, and keen to develop in a commercial finance role
* Competitive salary up to £60,000
