Reed Practice are proud to be working with a top 20 Practice who are looking to recruit into their esteemed team. Due to continued growth and success, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Client Manager based in their Newbury office.
The Client Manager will assist the Directors in managing their portfolio of company, partnership and sole trader clients. This role would ideally suit candidates with at least three years experience after qualifying with ACCA or ICAEW
The role will include:
1. Review of accounts for limited companies (non audit), partnerships and sole traders
2. Review of personal and partnership tax computations
3. Liaising and meeting with clients where appropriate to clear queries and discuss accounts and tax position
4. Support the Directors with managing their portfolios, including client onboarding and billing
5. Assist, mentor and review work of trainees and junior team members
6. Assisting clients and employees with VAT queries and any general queries they may have
7. Maintain up to date knowledge of standards and legislation
8. Maintain client relationships and support with any ad hoc queries
9. Involvement in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
10. Involvement in the annual appraisal process of accounts team members
