Waiter/Waitress - Zero Hour Contract
Base pay: £13.48 per hour

KYN is a brand-new care home company focused on offering an elevated approach to care: individualised journeys built around the needs and interests of our residents in beautiful surroundings with life‑enriching practices. KYN Hurlingham is our second home, opened in 2024, and offers a 32‑bedroom estate for our residents.
Responsibilities
* Support the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and consistently delivering an exceptional catering experience for our residents and their families.
* Provide room service, restaurant, and bar service in line with KYN's standards, including preparing meal trays, delivering refreshments, and removing trays after meals.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and best practices, ensuring health and safety, compliance and procedures are adhered to.
* Cater to residents' and relatives' dietary requirements.
* Report complaints to the Head Chef or Hospitality Manager promptly.
* Comply strictly with all rules and regulations concerning the serving of food and beverages.
* Create a nurturing environment where residents and family members feel loved, happy, safe, and secure.
* Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with the premises licence.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a similar hospitality venue.
* A professional attitude, maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and compliance.
* Strong communication skills, courteous and polite manner, and an eye for detail.
* Ability to work under pressure, flexibly and consistently.
* Trustworthy, caring, adaptable, friendly, patient and continually striving for excellence.
* Must be over the age of 18 to serve drinks in the restaurant.
