£14.60 per hour.
About the role
Kind, considerate, organised and caring young adult looking for a fun Personal Assistant/Befriender near Linlithgow to support with daily activities inside and outside the home.
Activities could include shopping, baking, taking public transport, swimming, running, and going to the cinema.
Personality & Behaviour
The young adult can become anxious when things change suddenly so the postholder must be calm, patient and empathetic.
Requirements & Skills
* Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme or willing to join.
* Must be a non-smoker, dog friendly and have experience/understanding of epilepsy care and first aid.
* Experience in care is helpful but not essential.
* Must have access to own transport and a full driving licence valid in the UK.
Work pattern
* Usually one six-hour shift per week on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
* Occasionally may be two shifts lasting three hours each.
* Some flexibility required.
