Overview
Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the St Marys Paediatric hospital pharmacy.
Responsibilities
* Provide support in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.
* Dispense medication on outpatient prescriptions.
* Stock ordering and management.
* Invoicing and financing deliveries.
* All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.
Qualifications
* NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course.
* Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
* Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.
Experience/Skills
* Experience in a customer-focused environment.
* Strong understanding of confidentiality.
* Ability to handle medications accurately.
* Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
Hours
Total Hours Contracted: 40
Working Pattern: Monday 9am - 6pm, Tuesday 9am - 6pm, Wednesday 9am - 6pm, Thursday 9am - 6pm, Friday 9am - 6pm
