Personal Assistant We are seeking a professional and experienced Personal Assistant to support a private family office on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at a beautiful countryside location near Hay-on-Wye, this role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work at the heart of busy and multifaceted professional environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong Personal Assistant capabilities to a broad role that combines high-level administration, logistical coordination, and support across a range of commercial and private commitments. This position requires discretion, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism. What you can expect * Salary – Highly competitive, dependent on experience * Full-time permanent position * Hybrid working – 3 days per week based at a countryside home office * Broad, engaging responsibilities supporting varied professional activity * Long-term opportunity with a respectful and supportive working environment What you will be doing * Providing high-level administrative and PA support with accuracy, efficiency, and discretion * Diary management, coordinating multiple schedules and ensuring deadlines and priorities are met * Preparing a wide range of professional written correspondence, business letters, formal communications. * Managing correspondence, coordinating travel itineraries, including accommodation and logistics * Supporting project timelines, maintaining to-do lists, and ensuring tasks are followed through * Managing financial administration – including processing payments, raising and tracking invoices, managing expense records, reconciling statements, and supporting the preparation of financial overviews What we are looking for * Demonstrated experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant * Proactive and confident to manage a dynamic workload * Proven experience supporting senior professionals and a natural ability to bring clarity and structure to fast-moving environments * Excellent diary management skills – confident handling complex schedules and competing priorities * Financially competent – with hands-on experience managing both personal and business finances * Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills * Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential matters Recruitment Direct are working as an employment businsess in relation to this vacancy, you must be able to prove your legal right to work in the UK to apply
