Ly vehicle and site checks
Repairs & Maintenance
1. Carrying out minor repairs (plumbing, lighting, fixtures, etc.)
2. Managing routine maintenance and emergency repairs
3. Supporting refurbishment projects
4. Liaising with contractors to ensure quality completion of works
Health & Safety
5. Conducting routine safety checks and fire alarm tests
6. Maintaining compliance records and completing risk assessments
7. Monitoring and resolving hazards on site
Grounds & Housekeeping
8. Keeping outdoor areas clean, safe, and accessible year-round
9. Clearing drains, paths, and car parks (including during frost/snow)
10. Inspecting play equipment
11. Coordinating the movement of furniture and deliveries
What We're Looking For
Essential:
12. Experience in general maintenance
13. Strong communication and organisational skills
14. Good IT skills
15. A positive, proactive attitude
16. Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety
17. Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
18. Basic plumbing or carpentry
19. Trade qualifications
20. Experience in a school or similar environment
