We are looking for a Regional Electrical QS to join the Technical Team at Thermatic Technical FM.
As a Thermatic Regional Electrical QS you are a member of the Compliance team. The Compliance team’s main aim is to deliver compliant technical services to our customers with the upmost standard and efficiency, whilst maintaining and delivering at all cost lines. As a Regional Electrical QS, you will support this purpose by ensuring that all Electrical practices and processes are adhered to across your team of engineers. The QS’s fundamental responsibility lies with the quality and compliance of the day-to-day work of the business.

Hours & Location of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. With some flexibility.
Based: Head Office in Salford, Manchester.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Ensuring results of the verification process are accurately recorded on the appropriate certificates or inspection report.
* Assess work allocation across your team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
* Having adequate knowledge, experience and understanding of the design, construction, maintenance, verification and/or inspection and testing procedures for electrical work
* Having adequate knowledge of applicable Building Regulations and Standards where relevant
* Coach and support your team to deliver the best possible service, identifying solutions and improvement where necessary.
* Ensure that quality standards are upheld, and where they are not then these are addressed in a timely manner.
* Conduct trade specific tool box talks and provide NICEIC updates and technical updates to engineers.
* Attend quarterly compliance meetings to review and improve performance and operations.
* Complete all necessary checks and audits via EasyCert as per schedule to ensure that our teams and customers are safe and compliant.
* Collaborate with the operations teams to ensure that next steps identified are completed as appropriate and within the necessary timeframe.
* Coach and support engineers where concerns have been identified.
* Maintain safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all team members including new starters have the adequate training.
* Toolbox Talks to be delivered regularly, ensuring any changes to compliance regulations are communicated and understood.
* Reporting to Head of Technical Services.
* Accountability to the TTFM Compliance Team.
* Accountable day-to-day to the relevant client contracts.
* Compliance management responsibility for engineers and there work standards in specified region.
* All essential criteria within Electrical Qualification skillset.
* A desire to lead and develop others.
* Vocational training courses relating to skillset or supervisory skills.
* Previous exposure to skill set sector in a supervisory capacity.
Responsibilities include:
* Completing all activities to a high standard and in a professional manner
* Proactively using the technology and systems provided in order to support Thermatic’s compliance and contractual obligations
* Communicating clearly, effectively, and professionally with team members, management, and client representatives
* Outstanding problem-solving skills to address customer complaints or needs
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Conflict resolution to resolve concerns and disputes
