Basic Requirements:

* Strong organisational and time management skills.

* Ability to execute experiments effectively and in a timely manner, reporting progress to senior scientists or study leaders.

* Excellent attention to detail and high standards of data capture.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Proficiency with IT, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and software such as GraphPad Prism.

* Highly adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong team player, able to work collaboratively to meet tight timelines.

* Flexible approach to working hours, with willingness to provide out-of-hours cover depending on study requirements.

* Experience working in a laboratory at containment level 2, working with bacteria, fungi or viruses would be advantageous.

* Being a current UK Home Office Personal licence holder (PIL A, B & C) would be advantageous although not essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with established procedures, protocols, and quality, regulatory, and safety standards.

* Prepare for in vivo studies, including material preparation, facility setup, and microorganism cultivation.

* Conduct in vivo procedures, process ex vivo samples, and provide support across multiple disease areas as required.

* Adhere to Evotec guidelines for accurate documentation of laboratory experiments.

* Contribute to data analysis and the writing of study reports.

* Maintain a high standard of laboratory workspace organisation.

* Support operational tasks such as compound receipt and inventory management.
