We are delighted to be supporting with the recruitment of a Group Management Accountant in a long-established, privately-owned group based in North Birmingham. With a diverse portfolio of businesses, they operate across the UK and internationally. They have a strong track record of reinvestment in systems, operations, and infrastructure. The group is focused on driving performance through smarter financial processes and insightful reporting.
You will be working closely with the Group Financial Controller, this is a high-visibility role responsible for consolidated group reporting, supporting data-led decision making, and improving post-ERP implementation processes. You'll be involved in management accounts production, systems-driven analysis, and group-wide standardisation projects, all within a collaborative, commercially minded finance team.
This role comes with an annual salary of up to £55,000.00 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities
Work closely with brand MDs, providing actionable analysis of margins and costs
Consolidate flash results, forecasts, actuals and budgets using advanced Excel and reporting tools
Create and document standardised processes to support consistency and internal control across the group
Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and operations to improve financial visibility and reporting accuracy
Play a key role in developing systems-driven reporting tools (Excel Macros, Vena, Power BI)Candidate Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:
Completed or working towards completion of a recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Strong Excel skills - confident with macros, modelling, and large data sets
Experience with consolidation software and cloud-based ERP systems (Vena, MS Dynamics 365, Power BI ideal)
Commercial acumen and the ability to present financial information in a clear, strategic way
Proactive mindset, great communication skills, and the resilience to drive changeBenefits Include:
